Lace Up Skirt w/ Yoins Review

EARTH SWEATER: Mixxmix LACE UP SKIRT: c/o Yoins
SOCK BOOTS: Boohoo LACE UP CHOKER: c/o Zaful

Oversized has always been a cute trend but I'm really noticing that pullovers and hoodies are really booming!! It's got that casual bad ass street style look. I've also seen it paired up with sports wear and I'm totally digging it.

I got inspired to tap into that style vibe and mix it with lace up pieces. I paired this simple earth pullover with a pink suede skirt from Yoins which makes me feel super confident for some reason. Maybe it's because of the lace-up strings perfectly centered on the skirt which I find sexy? Also wearing a lace up choker from Zaful to strengthen that lace up look 👊.

 REVIEW

The skirt was delivered in a timely manner and the product looked exactly like the photos shown in the website. The material consists of cotton, polyester, and spandex. Lace up strings were provided but had no aglets at the end of the string to prevent the string from splitting. Unfortunately the waist of the skirt is not adjustable and only has a fixed zipper located at the back. Overall quality of the skirt is exceptionally well- almost gives off that intentional authentic suede material look. The feel of the skirt is soft and comfortable to wear and does not crease at all. I'm extremely happy with this skirt selection from Yoins. Skirt link here.

I am SOO EXCITED to be back in blogging and catching up with everyone's blogs (something I look forward). But I'm really glad to come back and show the latest outfit shoots from when me and June met up again! Seeing how my first time shooting with him last year went really well, I was given the utmost pleasure to shoot with him again and boy, I was excited and partially nervous. The nervousness will always get to me when I get in front of a camera, haha.

TURTLENECK TOP: Forever21
TENNIS SKIRT/ SOCKS: American Apparel
PLATFORM BOOTS: Topshop

I'm back with another satin bomber look, this time a plain pastel pink jacket from Zaful. Pink is definitely a trend craze right now and I can totally understand why. Ladies instantly fall in love with the cute and innocent looking color. I wish it was warmer here so I could sport this jacket as much I as can. I slid this bad studded baby on my thigh and I LOVE how it kills the look... but softly, hehe.

Hope y'all stay warm or just be like me and dress for the sake of looking cute

CAMEL COAT: Vintage STRIPED TOP: Mixxmix
DENIM SKIRT: Forever21 THIGH HIGH BOOTS: c/o Zaful

It was a warm Sunday and I had the pleasure to meet up with photographer June and show him around Chinatown and Soho in the not-so-bustling New York City. I was kind of nervous being that I have not had the experience shooting with professional photographers. To my surprise, it was just a fun day shooting around downtown with chill vibes. We had many laughs and good conversations and oh, definitely a lot of stares from passerbys while doing a shoot.

Pink Bomber and Boots

SATIN JACKET: thrifted BLACK TANK: J.Crew
MOM JEANS: Jeanne Moore PINK BOOTS: c/o Zaful (link)

The color pink is seriously getting to me- I'm literally obsessed with the pastel pink. I love owning pink and blush colored pieces nowadays and I just feel like it goes well with anything minimal, hehe. These pink boots is just the most interesting but the cutest thing I've ever seen on Zaful. Perfect to wear with my jacket that I thrifted by St. Marks.

I didn't do much on Thanksigiving holiday but I'm sure guilty of doing a little shopping over the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend, hehe.
